The BHP scoring system works as follows:
Win : the full category points of the opponent
Win Bonus: 0.5 points for a win by a score of 30 points or more.
Loss: no points for a loss.
Loss Bonus for losing by less than 6 points: 60% of opponent’s category points
Loss Bonus for losing by less than 11 points: 40% of opponent’s category points
Loss Deduction: a deduction of 0.5 for a loss to a school in a lower category
Draw: 80% of opponent’s category points…

Dale struck back with a superb effort of their own to regain the lead by a point. After losing out by one point to Nelspruit in 2014, Garsfontein from Pretoria rewrote the history books on Saturday when they beat HTS Middelburg 42-40 in the Beeld Noordvaal Trofee final to claim the much sort after “Macro Schools” title for the first time in their history. Garsfontein opened its doors in 1988. The 2015 final also accounted for the highest number of points scored in a final – 82 points.
