End of the road for the Pukke Skouspel

On a sad note the annual Pukke Skouspel organised by the North West University and played at their grounds ahead of Easter weekend is no more. Financial reasons were behind the decision to scrap the festival.

“The university will not present any schoolboy rugby activities in the near future.”

It’s believed that NMU will continue on in their current role as sponsors of a number of inland school rugby cup competitions during the season. This initiative forms part of their marketing.
