Following the success of another youth club rugby tournament which saw the Bulls clean-sweep the age-groups from under-14 up to under-18, and was attended high ranking Union officials from the Golden Lions, Bull Bulls and Valke, a team of the tournament was selected.

The Northvaal region is quite active in presenting opportunities (Mauritz Hansen – all ages, Northvaal U16 week and IPT – all ages) and identify talent. Excellence breeds excellence – so the more healthy competition we have between talented teams, the higher the bar will lift and hopefully motivate players to concentrate on the complete package (and not only physicality as an example).
