Well done to WP u21 for dominating and playing beautiful expansive rugby. Very disappointed in Free State style of game. Too many players tried to run on their own and even though offload opportunities were bountiful, they could or did not want to execute. They must have an ex Blue Bull as coach – hehehehe. Same style of rugby as the Springboks, without the defensive effort.
@Ludz: Yeah true…I suffered a similar fate at Dale…had to carry my older cousin’s nickname…even though he left for Selborne of all places There were boys who carried their fathers’ nicknames as well. I wasn’t aware of the Jho case…I thought the born frees knew better
@Playa: Ya, it’s something I have always noticed during my Queen’s days, if your older brother had the nickname. When he leaves you carry the nickname, I saw a lot of during my high school days at Queen’s
Just hoping our Kings can take the Leopards next week and we can move off the bottom. I fancy our boys for an upset over one of the Bulls or WP. I think we can avoid promo-relegation game.

Well done WP u21’s. A deserved win if ever there was one. WP forwards and halfback pairing dominated the game completely.

I don’t think there will be a promotion relegation game this year. They have given whoever a 2 year run in the premier u21 compo.

Sjoe….the guys have been battling this year…that lions side gave us 50 points in the beginning of the season….good win.
