@GreenBlooded: One wonders how much longer Kloof can hold onto Jeremy – he has done an outstanding job there and was Grant Khomo assistant this year, incredible mentor to his boys.
For me, Eli is one of the most exciting 7’s players I’ve seen in a while – at 6ft5 with the pace of a wing and the swerve of a 13 he’s something to behold in full flight.
You would probably remember Menzi Gumede from Kloof primary (known as Travis), after playing KZN Schools at primary school, he had a short stint at Westville and seemed to get lost in the system – Jeremy looks to have got him back on track.
Now .. which 1st tier school was looking for a coach come 2015 ?
Kloof High School is a Tier 2 school which has benefited from the aquisition of a very astute coach in the form of Jeremy McLaren. I think the 15 man team won the Gelofte night series this season. Great to see that 2 boys from a school that we never hear of have made it.
