Hi beet. Any views on the KZN teams for 2026?
Great to see Glenwood almost at their full traditional fixtures list, every year it should be a given vs Hilton, House, College x 2, Kearsney, Northwood, Westville & DHS. Unfortunately still no DHS fixture, which is very sad. A decade of boys missing out on the best derby in Durban. Good to see St Charles and Clifton in the list too, making it playing 8 of 9 Top 10 local schools fixtures. A trip to Parktown gives the whole school a tour & of course KERF and now Grey PE. I’m glad we are no longer at Wildeklawer, we can leave that to those chasing rankings. Will be an interesting season…

Yes, both DHS and Northwood put up a good showing against Paarl Gym last year. Even with the loss, grea exposure for them, and to show what they could do against the no. 1 team in SA at that time. I think unf it did leave us a bit flat by the time our Old Boys Day against Hilton rolled around, but great to get another chance next year. I am worried about our depth though. Our juniour age groups are struggling a bit, compared to the high standards our first team have enjoyed the last 2 years, and hopefully a decent year again next year. DHS has incredible strength. That pipeline is strong, i see a lot of strength there for the next few years. Will be another competitive season in KZN I think next year.

Great to see The Knights taking on the big matches Skywalker.Will be backing you guys all the way at Wildeklawer. KZN Teams need to play the top sides, especially when it comes to Craven Week where this years Sharks school side probably wasn’t accustomed to that high level of intensity that comes with playing the top 10 schools in the season. Yes, pity we aren’t seeing Westville play an Affies or Paarl Gim next season. College again with a tough schedule while Hilton and Michaelhouse are going for some safer fixtures.
Hiton again playing it safe. Would love to see them have 1 more tour.
NW facing Paarl Boys High and Garsfontein at Wildeklawer…doesnt get any easier. I think those games should have gone to Westville, considering their top 10 ranking this year.
