Rooi, thanks for update I do remember QC playing Piet Retief, years ago. It’s still nice to see a small school like Marlow so successful.
@ Rusty There were many schools in the eastern cape platteland who had useful sides in the past eg Piet Retief (who produced Os Du Randt and Anton Leonard), Volkskool etc. I think it is the “professionalism” in schools rugby top players go to top rugby schools for higher honors and a career in rugby. For instance Johan Goosen comes from Burgersdorp.

@DC ARMY: Because the two programmes airing it are completely different companies, bud. One is Classic Clashes and the other Super Schools. And they both happen to have wanted to air this one, because, frankly it is the premier derby game in the southern suburbs (with all due respect to the Wynberg Sacs derby). And why Classic Clashes don’t care about Shimla final or Burger Large School because is the name of the show not CLASSIC CLASHES? Just saying….maybe think before asking such a dumb question.
@DC ARMY: I think the SACS game is on TV. Channel 319 if I’m not mistaken.
So exactly why are we seeing Bishops and Rondebosch on TV again? Couldn’t they show either the Shimla final or Die Burger Large school or even SACS – Wynberg
