Poor lighting is often the big negative associated with playing night rugby at a school ground, so give praise where it is due. The lighting at Affies is tops! It’s not by chance either. The floodlights were upgraded as part of the Affies centenary year of 2020. Another awesome extra that viewers won’t get to see when watching steamed matches is the new media broadcasting box above their Western stand.
