    @Die Ken: I wouldn’t be surprised if he made himself unavailable for the Pukke tournament so that he could use his school holiday to train with the Lions u19s ahead of the u19 Currie Cup. Once the Monnas season is over, he is bound be part of the u19 provincial rugby setup.

    @Vleis: look at the names and you would see that most of the boys you mentioned fills the quotas enforced by Saru. Craven week 9 and both academy sides 11 each.

    Toe Constant beseer was en Helpies teen Waterkloof sonder hom gespeel het, kon ek nie glo hoe goed die ander flanke was wat gespeel het nie. Het Conna nog nie hierdie jaar sien speel nie, maar hy moet goeie rugby speel om daardie manne uit die span (en vir Massyn uit die begin-Cravenweekspan) te hou. Helpies sit met `n oorvloed talent in daardie span.

    @valke: Henson uit vir seisoen.

    So Schutte speel seker vir Helpies se 2des as Bekkerling ook op 7 hom uit CW span hou?

    Of speel Helpies met 2 nr 7’s.

    Ou truuk van Helpies…..in die vroee tagtigs het Cheese van Tonder sommer 6,7 en 8 alleen gespeel.

    @knowthegame: Stem saam, daai seun is goed. Die leeus het hope talentvolle loosies. Die manne in die Craven week span ook baie goed.

    Ek geniet Len Massyn se spel ook.

    Ek neem aan Devon Henson is beseer, en daarom nie oorweeg nie ??

    It is interesting that no St John’s players have been selected for any of the u18/19 teams, when you consider the following:
    – KES, who beat SJC by only two points at home, have got 12 players in the teams.
    – St Benedicts, who lost to SJC, have got 6 players in the teams.
    – Parktown, who lost to SJC, have got 4 players in the teams.

    That’s 22 players selected from teams that are worse than, or at a similar level to, St John’s…and none from St John’s. Did St John’s not send any players to the trials like St Andrew’s at EP CD?
