Yes agreed Warriors. Could be a case of the losses against Grey College and Paul Roos counting against their position on the ranking list.

Maritzburg College being 27th yet the 3 kzn they’ve beaten are 10 or more spots ahead of them doesn’t make sense.

Not to be mixed up with the BHP rankings but this is a good question to analyse because I do think that one has to be careful that local league results don’t have an unfair dominant effect on the overall national picture.

With so many players in the Bulls setup you’d expect them to be higher – tongue in cheek😉

Pretoria Boys have won 4 out of 14 games. Under 30% win rate, where do you want them to be?

How can Pretoria Boys High only by ranked 38th, yet they have a total of 8 players in the Bulls Craven week and Academy week teams.

I also feel KES are a bit too far down. They have been hit for 50 twice though and both were “home” games in the circumstances. But KES could definitely beat the immediate 8 schools above them. Heck and Jeppe too, as they’ve proven :( .. but we know that he who laughs last laughs loudest, July in Houghton? We will be there!

    Thank u for the ratings.
I certainly could not produce something like this, so respect!
    Here’s some “loyal criticism”.
No one is arguing about the composition of the top 5…but further down I do feel it’s not quite there…e.g if Helpmekaar (18) were to take on Rondebosch (7), I feel Helpies would be firm favorites…
KES (24) sure, has three losses but all to top 5 teams…
Maritzburg should be higher than Hilton imo.
I reckon Garsfontein would also roll Rondebosch…
The Category rubric needs a bit more refining.

Just a few permutations for the Northwood vs Jeppe result which has hurt Northwood the most
    NORTHWOOD vs JEPPE
    SCORE PTS NEW AVG POS
    40-30 3.15 3.72 11th
    40-25 2.70 3.68 12th
    40-20 2.25 3.63 13th
    40-15 1.80 3.59 13th
    40-10 1.35 3.55 15th
    40-08 0.00 3.43 21st

If NW had scored two more points in that match they would have ranked above Westville and Hilton

Don’t understand how Westille (6 games lost)and Hilton (5 games lost) can be ranked above Northwood ( 2 games lost) who beat them both of them.

Durbanville and Glenwood don’t deserve to be in the top 50 with 2 and 3 wins apiece.
