Boishaai & Durbanville to entertain at the Porterville Bulfees again

Hoërskool Durbanville and Hoërjongenskool Paarl Boy’s High will meet once again in a highlight game at the must-attend vibey food fest that is the Porterville Bulfees.

One thing is guaranteed, Boishaai will not be underestimating Durbies this time around. In 2023 Durbies accounted for one of the biggest shocks of the season they defeated Boishaai  26-25.

High profile head coach Sean Erasmus has gone for a very youthful tight-five. It will be interesting to see how this engine room performs in the big matches this season. The prospect of the same look in 2025 is very rosy though. A main objective for this year will be to put to bed the nightmare of the lineout setpiece of 2023 which played a big part in the inconsistencies experienced. Eagle eyes will also be on the backline play with the hopes of more flamboyant approach at times. All said and done, this is a team that has the potential to mix it up with the best SA has to offer and win a few or maybe more than just a few or those key battles.

Not too much is known about the Durbies team, who in spite of still being a tier-2 rugby school in WP, have 11 listed games against against A-list rugby schools in 2024.

    Boishaai lyk indrukwekkend.

Die Maroon Masjien sal sy stempel eerskomende naweek afdruk en die skole rugby fynproewer laat regop sit..

    Goeie begin vir die BlouTrein.
    74-7 in 60 minute.
Ons het een of twee spelers met ligte beserings het wat nie gespeel het nie.
Sine uit na die seisoen – dankbaar dat daar geen ernstige beserings was nie.

It was hard to read too much into this match but Boishaai definitely have some nice players in their team.
Amongst them the u17 Joubert brothers.
