April Madness won’t be a factor like it was in 2023 when many top schools crammed between 7 and 9 matches into just 34-days.

In 2024 that period from Easter to the Workers Day is 38-day long and for it, on average most schools have opted for one or two fewer matches. Nevertheless it remains the busiest period of the season, contributing significantly to 30+ schools averaging less than a week’s rest between matches until the end of the second term.

    Ridiculous, especially Easter. A biokinetist or physio would never advise this for young men, huge cause of injury. Yes, I know its squads of 30 who rotate but still. The good old one game a week for 14 weeks is perfect….
