The national junior rugby programme will resume after Easter with the intake of 36 promising players who will attend the SA Rugby Academy, based in Stellenbosch.
This year’s Academy, which is one of the key pillars in preparing the top junior players in the country to make the step-up to the SA Under-20 squad, will run from 19 April to 30 June at the Stellenbosch Academy of Sport (SAS)

@Ploegskaar: ja nee as jy O 16 greensquad haal is jy seker van jou plek in alle SARU oefen groepe tot O 20 vlak…of jy nou ophou groei op 16 en of jy spoed verloor op 18 maak nie saak nie jou pad is geteer ,die ontwikkeling van ander spelers tel maar min want SARU het klaar belê in daardie greensquad mannetjies
Dis regtig jammer hulle kyk nie so bietjie verder as net daai spelers nie. Die onder 20 Shield kompetisie is volstoom aan met uitstkende spelers van die 6 provinsies wat deelneem.
