Bishops claim Southern Suburbs title but not the clean sweep

2020 Cape Town Southern Suburbs favourites, Bishops have come out on top in 2019! This is the first time Bishops have topped the competitive regional quadrangualar since 2011. The Platinum Blues didn’t have it their own way though. In true Southern Suburbs derby spirit both Wynberg and Rondebosch made the boys from Campground Road work extremely hard with results of 18-14 and 10-21 in those two season closing matches. Wynberg was the last of the four schools to achieve a S/Suburbs clean sweep: back in 2014.
