@boishaaipa:Is dit nie onregverdig wanneer n span se kategorie punt afgaan om dan ander skole wat reeds teen die betrokke span in verlede( selfs n week tevore ) te penaliseer nie? Toe die wedstryde plaas gevind het( teen afgegradeerde skool) was die skool mos nog nie afgegradeer nie. Slegs toekomstige wedstryde se rankingpunte toekenning behoort dan op nuwe waardes bereken te word?? of mud ek iets??
@David: Ek sit nou angstig en wag om te sien of Paul Roos nou ook na Saterdag van “n kategorie 5 skool, afgegradeer gaan word na ‘n kategorie 0 skool, sodat Gim geen punte kry en laer op die ranglys gaan val.

Menlo won 4 and lost 4 against top 10 sides. Compare that to eg Affies results and others and it just don’t make sense!

If you have a look at the other teams that played Transvalia, it does make sense…
Helpmekaar’s points game down, even though they won.
Boland, paired with their loss vs Bishops is completely off the list.
Glenwood dropped points, winning this weekend.
Waterkloof gained minimum points after beating a top 5 ranked school – for a school with an average of 2.49 points, a 5 point victory helps a lot with the average. They also achieved an 80% victory rate which means they qualified for the BP system.
The rest of Valia’s opponents do not feature on the top 30.
Agree with @David: that a 50 team list would reflect this sequence.
put the top 5 all at number 1 yippeeeeeeee!!!!!!!! 5 different horses all in different races , all deserve the top spot, maybe top 10.?
@beet: Must have been more schools than Transvalia to drop half a point. Would be much clearer if you can post the top 50 schools cat points from bhpa

@Carpe diem: Gaan na die thread “fixtures & results” toe, klik net op die skool se naam wat jy wil sien, dit vat jou reguit na die skool se bepalings en uitslae toe.

Gim, HJS en Garsfontein het dan almal 1 keer, en wel teen dieselfde span, verloor, en HJS het verder gelykop gespeel teen Helpmekaar. Dit voel dan meer sinvol dat Garsfontein of Gim huidiglik 2e moet wees.
Wil nie te tegnies raak nie, maar probeer net die metode verstaan.
Die kwaliteit van die 3 spanne se onderskeie opponente blyk dan deurslaggewend te wees.
Gim se opponente sover, was Durbanville, Monument, Menlo Park, Affies, Bishops, Transvalia, Oakdale en Grey. Miskien kan iemand Garsfontein en HJS se opponente gee.

@David: Nothing wrong. They had a bye. Plus they have 2 overseas opponents in their fixtures so far which earned them no points. Hence you will note that Paul Roos does not feature in the top 30….yet.
@David: Voel nogal bietjie vreemd dat Gim, wie sover al hulle wedstryde, behalwe die een teen die skool in die no 1 posisie, gewen het, laer is as HJS, wie teen dieselfde skool verloor het, en teen Helpmekaar gelykop gespeel het. Ek is nie seker hoeveel wedstryde Garsfontein sover verloor het nie.
@David: Gim haven’t done anything wrong. What’s happen is in order to maintain a realistic standard, Transvalia, who were sublime last year, had to be downgraded in category this year. All their 2019 opponents were thus affected.
Nou wat het arme Gim verkeerd gedoen?
