@Quagga: so, the self proclaimed master of schoolboy rugby; “Ruggas” posted an article on this, noting something about a “shadow team shock”. Not expanding on the “shock” is rather poor journalism, but be that as it may. What is he on about? Too many Northcliff players??
For the first time in a long time I do not believe that the bulk of player should come from Monnas and Helpies. It will be a great mix of schools this year if on merit.

It would be interesting to see if these teams show any significant changes after a few trial matches. To me the school a player is from is of little relevance, but with the limited amount of playing opportunities after school it would be important for the best players to have exposure at this level.
How did the trail game go ? Looking at the team sheets I suspect the “B” team might be stronger than the A.
