Monnas without 4+1 for Eldos

Match at Ellis Park
Krugersdorp’s Monument heads into a potential banana peel Tuks-reeks match  against Pretoria high school Eldoraigne on Saturday 18 March without five regular starters.

Four of the starters: Morné Brandon (Hooker), PJ Jacobs (no.8), Tinus Combrinck (scrumhalf) and Dandre Prinsloo (fullback) will be attending the SARU under-18 Elite Player Development camp in the Cape, along with 46 other talent scouted players.

A fifth Witbul player, lock Cristen van Niekerk, ruled from playing rugby due to injury, in any event would have been unavailable for the Eldoraigne game as he too will be at the SARU u18 EPD clinic over the weekend.

Monument run-on team for Eldoraigne match:

Great game gewees!

SARU baie soos n onderwyser by die keurings kommittee. As jy nou jou rug op hom draai of iets slegs oor hom se, SAL hy jou te nakom. As my lat deel van die groep was sou ek hom eerder gestuur het.

Zihan Coetzee (9) moontlik net so goeie speler as Tinus Combrinck wat bd SARU kamp is.

Maak my moerig. In enige ander professionele organisasie is daar accountability for your actions or lack of actions. Nie by SARU nie.

Ag nee man! Dis skoolseuns!

SARU laat mens eintlik net lag.

Surely there must be recognition for this comp.
They even let players comply club commitments before being released for international training duty. Why should this be any different.
…only in south-africa hey! Here we all do what we want as long as it suits southern part of s-africa!

Good luck to the respective teams!

Personally these training camps are smokescrean for our cape-town friends. They the only ones not affected by this. Why can’t they just join later?17th 21st March. Surely these boys can join after saterdays fixture?
    Rediculous
