@warriors7: In this country at International level all coaches are expected to win. No place for handing out caps for fun then.
@warriors7: I’ve also noticed that. Last year Maritzburg College OB Njabulo Gumede plays for BB was selected didn’t make an appearance. Make us wonder why these players were chosen in the first place. I mean its great representing your country at any level for that matter , but if I’m not going to play, what’s the point especially at u20 level where most players have just one shot at it. I’d rather stay with my club and jam for them. Hopefully the guy to take over DT doesn’t give players free tours.
Sorry I have to go a bit off topic and talk about the junior boks. It’s strange that certain players were chosen and not playing, correct me if I’m wrong but I haven’t seen Denzil Hill get some game time, Blose played the 1st half of the 1st game vs Japan. Why we’re these players chosen if the coach doesn’t trust or doesn’t think they good enough. Free trip to England must be nice but surely players would like to play while on tour especially a world cup . But yet again the coach has to win at all costs. Also haven’t seen Vers and Gans
