The Affies Witbulle have to quickly put Monday’s massive Wildeklawer game against HJS Paarl Boy’s High behind them and prepare for an onslaught of equally great proportions when they take on the “Le Bleus” of Grey College in what will be one of the high profile matches of 2016 and a defining match in terms of the national number one position for 2016. Although Affies lost for the first time this year, going down 29-25 to undefeated Paarl Boys’ High, their chances of claiming top place in SA are still very much alive. Equally so for Grey College who are also unbeaten so far in 2016. Whether Saturday’s losing team gets eliminated from challenging for top berth is also far from conclusive. There are several hard matches ahead for both including HJS versus Grey College. Also very much still in the race are Glenwood who are yet to lose a match and Paarl Gymnasium who have only lost one game this season.
