I can understand pressure from parents. The junior school next to us yesterday wanted to close for the day (pressure from parents and social media flying) due to a suspected march by disgruntled workers about 5 km away.

they ended up having extra security at school and a police presence on the road outside at start of school. All calm – but the parents were very vocal. So I am sure that parents have put pressure on the school and teachers have just said…”Enough! your boys can stay at home then.”

?????????? Seven foreign refugees killed as opposed to 8 SA women during the same period, ranging in age from 15-86 yrs. For the first 7, there was outrage, and rightfully so. For the latter 8, there was SILENCE !! This, all of course, part of our daily stats of 50-60 murders pd and a rape every 4 minutes. And they cancel a trip to Durban? Come on, who are they trying to fool? :?:
