Believe it or not by the time this End of Year Tour is over, current Springbok Heyneke Meyer will be the fourth most experienced Bok coach of all time, overtaking both Rudolf Straeuli and the legendary Doc Danie Craven to claim that spot. The Boks’ 24-15 win over Wales on the weekend, also pushes Meyer up into second place since test rugby readmission. This second place is in terms of both win percentage and  a specially devised rating formula which takes the quality of the test opponents into consideration.…

Top 30 rugby schools in South Africa & Wildeklawer

Along with the recently update formula that drives the BHP rankings comes a recalculation of who the Top 30 schools in SA have been since 2009 (including the present season 5 of 2013 ).

The rankings confirm that the organisers of Wildeklawer are pretty much on the ball when it comes to inviting the cream of the crop to attend the annual showpiece which will be held from 02 – 04 May at Maritzburg College in Pietermaritzburg this year.…
