Some news that may have been missed at the start of 2022. The man of many hats: Hannes Nienaber is, if not the leading school rugby journalist in South Africa, then amongst the top handful properly qualified persons. He’s also the owner of the must read website at https://schoolofrugby.co.za/ and for the past few years, he has been the face of DigiTV, although that is set to change as he moves away from part ownership of the business which has become synonymous with schoolboy rugby in this country. As of 01 January 2022, Hannes has been hands on in his brand new role as the Hoërskool Garsfontein’s Head of Marketing and Communications.
