@Grey Brak: Same problem this side,it was well discussed on earlier comments.WP and maybe Boland only sides to select best team.Said earlier I like the look of this BB team despite couple of passengers…they can take it deep… Province now hot favourites.

    Lions 38-33 Sharks.

KES outside centre wearing 14 jumper for the Lions definitely lived up to his reputation.

Very good comeback by the Bulls to showcase a quality side. Vast difference in ability between Free State starting 15 and players brought on from the bench in the 2nd half. One of the substitutes in the Free State team plays 3rd team at school level. Clearly not used to rugby at this level.

Bulls number 8, 9 and 12 were very impressive in my opinion. Definitely a team to be reckoned with at Craven Week.

Wow, don’t know I must feel about the result. Mixed feelings at its best.? But congrats to the Bulls. Two big scalps in the Lions and Cheetahs.
    Cheetahs will be back.

Blue Bulls 40-38 win after big comeback. Free State just ran out of ideas and had very little frontfoot after building a big lead and looking in total control of their destiny just after halftime. FS defence became very poor and struggled to contain the Bulls who just seemed to get a better idea of the style of play that gets them to play the game in the right parts of the pitch. In the end I have to say the Bulls pack and their forcefulness turned the match around and it helped that they had useful backs to attack close to the fringes.

@Smallies: It’s sort of feel-feel. Not a physically intensive match in open play. Quite a lot of setpieces. Free State are playing the way I expected tempo wise. I expected the Bulls to be more in your face with their pack.

Score now – FS 33-28 BB 16 min 2nd half

Free State are able to move the ball through the hands slickly and wide awake to attacking opportunities.

I agree. Luiperds Cravenweek vs Blou Bulle Cravenweek XV would have been a good test for both teams …

For anyone interested, the KZN Sharks Academy Week team will play the KZN Sharks Country Districts team in the afternoon on Monday 10 June before the capping ceremony. This will be to make up for the two teams not travelling to Bondedag this year.
