For those new to the experience, it’s useful information to know that as policy the national youth weeks (u18 Craven Week, Academy Week and Grant Khomo Week) all have minimum player of colour (POC) selection targets as well as prerequisites for the minimum number of POC that must be on the field at any given time during matches.

REPLACEMENTS – High School Youth Weeks
Also note that previously for the representative team’s first match, only injury enforced replacements were permitted.
Tactical substitutions were not allowed.
For the second match all squad players who sat the first match out, had to start and play the entire match.
These restrictions were put in place to ensure that all players in the squad were given at least one full match.
During the second match, tactical substitutions were permitted but only those players in the starting XV who had played the first match could be replaced.
