At this point the seasons number is between Grey and Paul Roos with Glenwood as a dark horse. They would need to remain unbeaten, beat Grey and have Grey beat Paul Roos in my view. Tough ask.

@Hooit: why do Monnas only start playing after 25min? Then the wing not dotting ball down or watching opposition shall we say!!! Really good match. Playing Greyt you must be focussed from kickoff they like to strike early to shut game down in 1st half that’s all I believe. If you close them down smash them early its a game!

So my realistiese ranking is
    1. Monnas
    2. ……………..

@McCulleys Workshop: they are always the benchmark. How could they not be?

@BoishaaiPa: most probably the best ranking system in the country thanks. I know it’s difficult due to the many provincial leagues represented. Currently in the top 10 we have 5 schools who play each other annually. It is easy for a actual top 5 school to end up outside top 10 with teams that don’t play top ranked schools having a good year not in the same category. But thats acceptable as I believe this is mostly a guide to teams strength year to year. We do know it reveals countries top 5. It’s a pity Paarl Gim & Monnas don’t play Grey every year as then we would get more consistency. Currently Paul Roos, Affies, Boishaai,Selborne & Glenwood play them every year so there’s a good guide.
