    Correct.
    @Rugbyismylife
    Nothing is cut and dried at this point in time. i think there will be some changes from horsefly’s list. I dont like mentioning names on such a public forum when discussing expectations because the wrong thing said could be potentially damaging to a youngster’s confidence or self esteem. In general i think we’ll have a young pack with a lot to learn about rugby at 1st team level, but the youngsters it the age group can never be faulted for their dedication or enthusiasm.

    you are being ridiculously stubborn about me being wrong.
    Now listen very carefully i coached the u15 team that richard played in. I (ME) (yes me) selected Richard at prop that year.
    I really don’t know what else to tell you. You claim to be an avid DHS supporter. You say you don’t know the boy in question personally but i do. I was also involved in that team and then you tell me I’m lying when i tell you where he played.
    There was no need to play Thomas in the backline because we had Ngubane Innes and Williams as 10-12 so Richard was not in the backline. If you really are insistent on persuing this then please come to school and i will dig out the video footage that i have from that year and prove it to you. Otherwise I shall accept yout appology for insinuating that I am a.) an idiot who doesn’t remember the team he coached two years ago or b.) A liar. Either way i will expect your apology or your presence at shool on monday.

    @horsy
    I cannot comment on where i will be coaching as nothing has been finalised as of yet.

    Richard played flyhalf u14 and tighthead prop u15. I’m afraid horsey was right in that regard.

    There are no new Recruits as far as I know! I heard that The acting Principal is not allowing players being recruited over the age of 16! I know wilkinson has tried but not having any success so far!

    I understand what u saying about the prop forward,But with a Knee injury as serious as Richards we cannot expose him 2 such a position as it makes him to vulnerable to further injuries!

    But isn’t running around like a mad-man where the role of a prop forward is going now? Gone are the days where props have to be these huge players who will just blow away everyone in the first half and go quiet in the 2nd after putting their all in the 1st.

    Any new ‘recruits’?

    @HORSEFLY NO.1: I know he struggled with a Knee Injury towards the end of the season! He obviously won’t be running like the likes of a Loose forward but he definitely Gets around the Park well!!

    Richard can’t play prop with his Knee injury! And I doubt he will be Big enough for Prop at 1st team leveel!

    @Rugbyismylife, thinking the Glenwood pack will be smaller than usual but the backs will be very quick. Maybe a completely different ball running type rugby required with this sort of players at hand…something DHS used to do in the early to mid 90’s with Wade Wingfield and co..

    Why doesn’t Richard play at prob and then have someont like Rees or Kreedemann playing at loosie alongside Ngobese?

    Gents, I don’t mean to intrude on your lover’s tiff here, far be it from a Glenwood boy to get involved in a DHS bickering match – but looking at the teamsheet posted by Horsefly above, R Thomas (who RIML supports and Horsefly doesn’t) is listed as starting 8 and Kriedemann (who Horsey supports and RIML doesn’t) is listed at 16.

    Richard is a Great Fetcher a Great leader!! He will sertainly be an asset 2 KZN rugby! He has been struggling with a knee problem bt he is working extremely Hard on Rehab!! He started off playing 2nd team this year but because of a Favouritism issue in my opinion! He later moved into the 1st side and Made a HUGE difference! I guess only time will tell But in my opinion the loose forwards of 2013 are going 2 have 2 work exceptionaly hard 2 out play this young man!

    Hi. You might have to help us out a bit with more background info on Richard. He will have his work cut out for him if he wants to achieve his goal in 2013. The compo for the 4 KZN Schools loose-forward berths will be tough. Word is that Daniel du Preez the SA Sch lock is shifting to the backrow, where along with his brother JL will be favourites to retain the KZN Schools status they have held for 2 years now. So there will possibly be a place for an openside flank and a versatile loose-forward in the 22-player squad, with many good players to choose from.

    @Umtata: He is at DHS now but will not be in their team in 2013. This year he did play prop on a few occasions. DHS had a few options at prop when all were fit so I think that’s why he was shifted to the 2nd row. They also had an athletic flank to be their 2nd lineout option.

    Its just that you learn and hear more when you keep quiet and listen to those who know which is why I now know a bit about them. Also, DHS have not bought anyone for 2013 that I’m aware of,maybe its top secret :wink:
    Yes the 130 kg lock wasn’t as good as hoped but I wasn’t talking about him, talking about next years locks,one of which IMO is in line for KZN colours of he plays to his potential(he was the lock partner of one of the Doops at DPHS so would be good to see them together again). I would rather have a 2.03m lock that will take all his ball,steal ball in the lineouts and do his job in the defence.just my opinion…
    @beet:
    Pretty hard for me to select one as I’m getting the message that their still training as a 40 man squad so at the moment it could be anything bu here goes:
    1)K.Philaretou

    4)D.Mare
    5)W.Kotze
    6)E.Ngobese
    7)A.Tshutsha
    8)R.Thomas
    9)R.Killian
    10)K.Webster
    11)S.Biyela
    12)B.Buthelezi
    13)N.Ngubane
    14)P.Hlongwa??
    15)M.Peter

    D.Kreidemann
    D.Roberts
    K.Keogh
    K.Ngid
    N.Shangase
