Wow! Not much else to report at this stage except that Leon Erasmus has resigned as DHS headmaster during their 150th year celebration.
Unofficially word is that he has a new post. However it’s just speculation at this stage and an official statement from DHS is expected. Erasmus was well liked and respected by the DHS community so his decision must have come as a huge blow, particularly since he has only been at DHS a couple of years.
Mike Fennell, the former KES headmaster who joined DHS in a CEO capacity is also expected to move on.
Apparently off to a Co Ed School in Capetown
Huge shock!!!! Maybe the boys not attending a few fixtures vs House (I think) was the straw that broke the Camels back. Very sad indeed as he was doing good things for DHS. Maybe other factors….
Wow indeed.
Looked like he was a great asset to School. Wish him well and trust there is nothing waiting in the woodwork to crawl out. And really hoping for DHS that a strong leader follows him.
We need strong SBR schools in KZN to keep the sport strong
