SACS UPSET BOLAND LANDBOU
The South Africa College High School (SACS), the oldest school in South Africa, hosted the farmers from Boland Landbou in the first league game of the season. The first team match was played in very hot conditions. SACS led 19-14 at half time but Boland fought back and took the lead with ten minutes to go only for SACS come back and win 26-24 thanks to a brilliant counter-attack try!…
George Campbell’s 1st XV head coach Robert Erasmus passed away during the Easter holidays so his players were more determined than ever to honour the much loved and passionate long serving teacher with a victory over St Charles, who under different circumstances might have been favourites. The extra motivation helped Campbell lift their game to new heights this season as they played as a team with structure.…
DHS came away from Clifton’s home of rugby at Riverside, Durban North with a resounding 50-10 victory over their hosts.…
At Kings Park, Glenwood accounted for a 7 tries to 2, 59-12 demolition of Maritzburg College. The Green Machine has now not lost in this inter-city derby since 2010.…

From Queen’s College
A record number of teams from Queen’s College, in Queenstown, participated in various rugby festivals throughout the country over the Easter Holidays. The Queen’s College First XV and Queen’s College Junior U13A participated at the KES Easter Festival, whilst the U16A took part in the Jeppe Festival and the U15A and U14A teams took part at the Grey High School Festival in Port Elizabeth. All the teams performed admirably and managed to win all their fixtures against their various opponents.…
