Two ex-Parktown boys were amongst a group of 20 odd boys (some from state schools, some from independent both boys and co-ed schools) who enrolled from grade 9 -11 at KES this year and are the cause of Parktown’s decision.…
A smart joint decision has been made by Centurion and Eldoraigne. They have agreed to have their Tuks Reeks match in March double as a Beeld Bulls Macro B-league encounter. As a result the two Pretoria Co-eds avoid having to play each other twice via scheduled matches. There is however no guarantee that they won’t meet during the knockout phase of either cup competition. …

After losing out by one point to Nelspruit in 2014, Garsfontein from Pretoria rewrote the history books on Saturday when they beat HTS Middelburg 42-40 in the Beeld Noordvaal Trofee final to claim the much sort after “Macro Schools” title for the first time in their history. Garsfontein opened its doors in 1988. The 2015 final also accounted for the highest number of points scored in a final – 82 points. The previous highest was 43 – 23 in 1998 when Affies beat Waterkloof.…

After what happened against SACS earlier this month, Affies probably won’t be underestimating any other team they come up against this season. However that said the Wildeklawer Invitation team, Affies’ match-day one oppnents, have over the years been a walk over for any powerhouse school that took them on at the Skouspel. One week ahead of their Wildeklawer debut on the same ground, Menlopark will travel to Kimberley to face a very competitive Diamantveld team, who’s two best results so far this season have been the much talked about come from behind 34-all draw against Grey College followed by a 12-22 defeat to a very strong Boishaai in Stellenbosch.…
