Marlow book their place in Die Burger final

Home team Marlow caused an upset by beating Outeniqua 17-10 in their Die Burger Large Schools semi-final. This is a reversal of the  2013 result when Marlow lost to the 18-6 to Kwaggas in George in the same competition. By beating Outeniqua (SWD) in their semi-final clash this afternoon, Marlow (EP) assured themselves a home final.

The finals of the 2014 Die Burger Rugby Competition for High Schools will be played on Saturday August 30 at Cradock.

Marlow will play in the final against Paarl Boys High (WP).

The finals of the medium schools section: Augsburg (Boland) vs Brandwag – Uitenhage (EP) will also be played at Cradock as well as the finals of the small schools: Excelsior (WP) vs Bertram Sec (EP)

You are a bit unfair now. They have a mega pack of forwards. I still think Boishaai will win easily. Good luck

@bhkgpa: Teams don’t win often at Marlow….As Grey College can contest when a very good 2009 side only won there by 9 odd points!…Their Home and Away record is something very strange indeed!…I have In-laws who is affiliated to the school so I don’t expect Boishaai to come away with a win on Saturday….Strange rules apply in Cradock
