@phat55: Most boggling for me is 365 having Paarl Gim at 17!!! They must be missing some results.

Interesting. Since we are talking combo here, Paul Roos would be no.1 if you were to combine the other major winter sport, viz hockey, into these rankings. I also suspect Westville would shoot up – surprised to see them down the list.

@Queenian:    I thought i was the only one that thought Grens was a bit high. I know they are having a good season, but ranking 23 is a bit off. #my opinion

@Queenian: I didn’t want to comment on that ranking. I’ll start by saying Dale at 22 itself is fishy (can’t believe I used the word fishy and Dale in the same line)…then there’s Bishops above Waterkloof at 20 WTF 8-O and Wynberg at 16 (they should be higher)!

Grens at 23 on the one ranking smells of something fishy.

@Mike: I think Grey PE should make the Top 10 at least.

Do you know if the 3 SA Schools players are going to play against Framesby and Selborne.

Yeah Grey High too high on some and too low on others. Boishaai pa ranking right on the money. If Grey beat Selborne and Framesby they should crack the top 10. Maybe around 9/10.

Comparisons such as this are interesting, but inherently meaningless because most of the rankings are thumb sucks at the best of times. If I was going to value a ranking system I’d support Boishaaipa’s system which is mathematically defensible. I wonder if the rest are ?
