@Vyfster: Hi Vyfster and others who have provided missing scores. I will update the results pages. From what I understand BHP works independently of the results published on this site – for one reason they only cover a select number of schools.

Nee, ek dink glad nie dis belaglik nie……heel goeie werk.

@BoishaaiPa: @beet: another case in point……Compare Frikkie Meyer from Thabazimbi’s result with Schoonspruit.
As far as I know FM is unbeaten in 9 games so far this season……I don’t know all their results but I know they beat Centurion (30-20 also not reflected here), Oos-.Moot 38-18, Klerksdorp 33-28 and Pretoria Boys high 25-15 (albeit on the Loftusday which you don’t count, methinks)
Point is, those are good schools…….can you objectively prove that Schoonspruit deserve to be ranked above them?
Or even Pietersburg, who in addition to a 31-5 hiding they gave to Eldoraigne (nr19), also beat Sentraal of Bloem 24-7, Potch Volkskool 72-12, Merensky 68-15 and is still unbeaten.
What about Pionier who beat Kearsney and only lost 1 of 12 this year, or Ligbron.?

Obviously I believe that Ben Vorster belongs in top 30, and are better than above mentioned schools…lol…but I understand losses against Menlo and Drostdy cost us, at least we beat Dale(24), Centurion, Florida, Nico Malan and Strand easily, so hopefully a few more wins will bring us in contention.

My main point remain, can you prove to me that Schoonspruit (or Eldoraigne) must be ranked above FM, Pietersburg, Pionier ,Ligbron and other lesser known schools?
I always get the feeling that there is an inbuilt bias towards especially Western Cape and KZN coastal schools and “plattelandse schools get missed some times.
I understand it is difficult to keep track of all results, but surely we want to be as accurate as possible and I am certain you didn’t,t have all the results of FM and Pietersburg

Schoonspruit interesseer my ook.

@BoishaaiPa: @beet: you might have missed a result…..on 6 April this year Pietersburg beat Eldoraigne 31-5. It is not reflected on this blog.
Logic and simple mathematics dictates that Eldoraigne is unlikely to be nr 19 with that result in the equation

@AntonT: On any given day most of the top schools are capable to beat a school ranked much higher. Who would have put money on Selborne to give GCB such a hard game or Grey PE to run PRG so close. There is no way to have a ranking system that is 100% correct, a ref, the bounce of the ball, a yellow or red card can change the outcome of a game. Rankings are based on results and not the abilities/potential of a team. My feeling is that this ranking system is still the best there is.

@Rainier: Selborne and Jeppe is a shock to me. I think both will end much higher than where they are right now.

Good to see EGJansen on that list again. Three narrow losses against Stellenberg. Last minute loss against Glenwood and loss against Noord Kaap which they technically won  Probably could have been top 15 allready if they pulled them through. Think they going to be a powerhouse in the Virseker beker. I do not see Noord Kaap on the list
