Affies used to play in both the Nu power and Beeld trophy tournaments. Felt the win motive were getting to big and withdrew from all competitions. That was in 2006 or 7? Real pity because the games I saw at Nu power was much more physical than the friendlies Affies played thus far in the season.

@Hooit: Skuus Hooit. Nellies se 0/15 en 1 ste span speel in die finaal. Volgens my gaan hulle kners om 1 van die wedstryde te wen. Veral op 1 ste span vlak twyfel ek of hulle HTS se fisiese voorspelers gaan kan hokslaan.
@Hooit: Hi Hooit. Ja lyk my al 3 Monnas se A spanne wat in die 1-4 semi’s was is deur tot die finaal. Al drie is ook gunstelinge om hulle onderskeie ouderdomsgroepe te wen. Monnas gaan na alle waarskynlikheid die algemene rugby wenners wees. Veral die 0/14A span blyk ‘n omgekrapte groep te wees.
@Woltrui: Hoeveel spanne het Nellies in die Finals? As my feite reg is het Monnas 3 A spanne en 3 B spanne in die finals. Al 6 is junior spanne wat groot dinge voorspel vir die toekoms

Al vier Nellies se A spanne in die semi’s (nie sleg vir ‘n klomp “arm onopgevoede” kinders nie of hoe Kloofpa
). HTS en Monnas elk 3, Kempies en Eldo 2, Jansies en Woeries elk 1 span in semis.
Vermoed Nellies se seuns hokkie ook in semis. Laevelders woeker in 2013.
Sal maar ‘n piekniek mandjie vat en van 11h00 soos Heidi van die berge daar in die stadium gaan uitkamp
@ Beet- Thanks for the update- Some thrillers to look forward to on the main field. EG Jansen and Monnas will try to come back after their narrow defeats against HTS Middelburg and Centurion respectively. This should be a cracker and these two have not played each other for a while now. Kempton park and Centurion might cause some upsets again, but a Nelspruit/ HTS Middelbutg final might be on the cards and possibly one of the games of the year
