San Isidro, the high school from Buenos Aires in Argentina has three teams out on a tour of the Western Cape at the moment. Having just outscored Drostdy by three tries to one in a 17-17 draw at fortress Trappespark, suggests that these tourists mean business. The Worcester locals say the San Isidro boys are quite big. Next up for them is a trial game against Paul Roos in Stellenbosch followed by what might in fact be a proper game against Paarl Boys High on Monday, 11 March.
In other news Paul Roos has pulled out all their teams from the Brackenfell Rugby Day after they could not reach a suitable arrangement with the organisers. The Brakenfell event is just days before the Kearsney Easter Rugby Festival and it seems like Paul Roos and Outeniqua were unreasonably being lined up to play each other.
@beet: I thought changing the jersey and the resulting reaction all over the blog was hilarious. Know where you came from, but man, that was so much more entertaining than the usual Glenwood Bloggers vs KXN Barbarian Bloggers yapping about the HMA, poaching and overage issues. Let’s just say I enjoy the Beast/Gerhard’s posts a bit more to All Black/John Major’s posts
@PaulRoosPa: Bloublasie=Bloedwors=MaroonPappa
Guy who’s green Fortuner was written off on the c/o Eversdal/Fairtrees Friday and walked away without a scratch=Ploegskaar=the “small retailer and importer” that gives Shoprite, Rainbow and the rest of the gang the finger every year
But I do support tobacco and especially wine with vigour, none the less
@Ploegskaar: Yes we are on the same page now!
@PaulRoosPa: If truth be told, his trail of destruction bared a striking resemblens to 2 similar characters that appeared on 365 last year.
@Ploegskaar: So what is it Broederbond or Free Mason? Be careful, might just have your water and lights cut off!
Ploegie it has happened before and will happen again in future that a person come onto the blog posing as a supporter of a school and later it is found it was all an effort to get reaction from other school supporters. I am not saying this guy is a fake but I will confess I have never seen a Paul Roos supporter be so arrogant and ready to insult other schools. It is not the way most of us on this blog go about our business or interact. Many of the things said have a familiar look to it…….
@Ploegskaar: Ja Ploegie. In hindsight I think I should have handled that one better and maybe communicated with MaroonPappa in private. Was probably not the right thing to simply change the jersey and possibly offend him but I know the 2 PRG guys and they are passionate about their school, which rubs off on me.
@beet: Can you please elaborate on this PRG ethos or are only those that belong to the inner circle of the Stellenbosch Free Mason Branch privy to this? At the risk of losing my jersey, it does seem as If the long hand of the Broederbond has reached into your blog .
@MaroonPappa: Kontak my gerus paulroospa@gmail.com
@beet: or email me at beetb@telkomsa.net and I will provide you with their email addresses.
@MaroonPappa: Hey man you need to get certification. On twitter it’s @flip_db or @PaulRoosPa and then I will gladly return your jersey. PRG has an ethos for all parents incl the new ones and this one parent and one old boy wants to talk to you about it. No hard feelings from my side.
PaulRoos gaan vanjaar in groen truie uitdraf.
