    @Griffhound: Yes good on them as you say. A great feat winning after 10 years and a good leveler for KC for sure. Rather 1st game of the season!

    @Skywalker: Kearsney were at full strength for this – their first game – only compensation was the opportunity to play all 22 touring players in a variety of combinations against a settled team with 4 games under the belt. No excuses – Pionier were always ahead and deserving winners – first time in 10 years. Instead of bemoaning the loss – I just want compliment the two N.Natal platteland schools played. Great facilities and pristine fields, wonderful hospitality and games played in fantastic spirit with some impressive talent on display. I hope these games remain a fixture on the KC calendar. KC were able to show considerable improvement in their second game against big, hard opposition who were never scared to take the ball up. An interesting season lies ahead :lol:

    Pionier beat Kearsney? An upset surely even for pre-season? Was Kearsney full strength?
