@Hooit: Bwhagagsgsgsgsgagsga I just dropped my wors. No love lost between Monnas and Helpies
@Bush: Safari one is Helpies. They will give you full school uniform and sports kit if u can arrange a rugby game for them in KZN. I hear the Helpie rugby players each carry n standard sleeping bag and ratpack with them and the scoolbus at the gate ready to leave for any kind rugby venue where they can get some playing time.
@Speartackle: Awesome, I will come through earlier Friday. Come for dinner Friday evening. I will send James the chauffeur to collect you.
@Hooit: Only if you get me the Safari one???. There were some very good Flanks on display yesterday. I think Greenman’s boy is in the right position during the trials. He was one of the locks mixing it up well yesterday and if you need an extra Loosie you have him on board.
@Bush: Was supposed to start yesterday but course flooded. Hopefully tomorrow till Friday, we are going tomorrow till SAturday morning
@Speartackle: I’m actually staying there this weekend. When does the comp start? If it’s during the week it’s a problem as I’m busy making wors for the Monnas game.
@Bush: Now n cap and jersey? Why not the whole uniform? I will hand over the cap only if you attend.
@McCulleys Workshop: I 100% agree. Think he enjoys being loose but he is good in both position. I am sure his prop days are over.
@Bush: Come make a turn at San Lameer this week, Small Spear is playing the SA Country Districts tournament there.
Course is flooded at the moment but there are some lekker wors braais , he brought a whole lot of Goudkop Champion wors from Klerksdorp
Come and see some beautiful swings and putting strokes
@SJ: It’s the same about how I see the Nr12 Marx from Hilton. He has had some great games through the season. Put a team together and let’s see if you win the wors
No Curtis (Hilton 9)?? How is that possible? He’s looked a different class in the few games I’ve seen.
@McCulleys Workshop: He was injured. The above list was not 100% correct on the day, as a few kids had injuries and sat out.
@Bush: I haven’t seen college so it’s hard to comment.
@Bush: 15 from Hurricans – Schrueder from Hilton. Has a great boot and good positional play.
@Greenman: @Hooit: I think he has been great at 7.
@Bush: monnas jersey and cap. That will be just wrong. Remember they only speak dutch. a soutie supporter has to support GW. We will fit you and add a piece of wors. Need some silver spooners there

@Greenman: I think your boy was in the correct position today and played very well. The Monnas game is going to be big. I may have to give the House game a miss and come through to watch that game. Now that I hear there is wors, braai, Afrikaans music and richelieu❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Plus Hooit has promised me a Monnas Jersey and Cap??????
@Bush: thanks for the heads up. He loves his rugby so much, he will play anywhere just to be there! I believe they were stretched today after saturdays game against Menlo. You can only give your best and hope it is enough. At least they have a weeks rest. Matric farewell this weekend so I will have some Bluff wors. Will be there for DHS in and out and then mommy and me for Monnas. Bush, can we start the fire. Mommy has never had Bluff wors from a silvwr spooner
@Speartackle: I thought he was at Boksburg by the sea. Doing Babelaas Wors met Pa
Hope it went well chaps. I’ll be there thur, fri and saturday for the U13 Trials.
McCulleys is in Venice Beach auditioning for the new season of Baywatch
@Bush: Hoppers say he puts his Mrs Palmer wors in for the whole GW team
@Speartackle: That is my 15 man team. 1kg Bluff Wors in the potjie pot. Bring your cheap, fatty wors and put it in the pot.
@Bush: Put your R 100-00 in the wors and pick a new team
@Speartackle: The Loose Forwards in KZN are plentiful. Choose your side, that’s my choice.
@Bush: No man…..Laubscher the best 7 in KZN
Putter(Hilton) and JJ the locks
Glenwood centre pair
Where is Richardson?
Here is my CW starting 15. If the selectors don’t have these guys in the team then something is very wrong!!!!!!!
1) T.Mdletshe 2)D.Densham 3)R.Knox Capt 4)E.Laubscher 5)O.Calvert-Evers 6)Hilton Nr6 don’t know his name 7)N.Mchunu 8)P.Buthelezi 9) J.Hendrickz 10) D.Pretorius 11)F.Masgongwe 12)H.Marx 13)N.Mjara 14)M.Van Rensburg 15)Player that played for the Hurricanes I think he was from Kearsney
@Greenman: He is doing very well this year. Think he prefers not being tied up in a scrum.
@Hooit: Thinking about it. He has played all positions in the front 8. Prop and hooker under 14A and under 15A. Then lock after that and everything else up to date. A utility forward I would say!
@Bush: You right! Not cheap China material! Last forever. Keep the fire going forever! enjoy@Hooit: He has always been a lock and would have played lock if JJ could play 8 th man. He is the line out man even in the other position he played. He is on fire and as Bush pointed out not even water can put that out! Hope all goes well at trials.
@Hooit: I normally leave early when I see you guys burning the wors. Either the skin is is too thin and the fat causes fire or you stoke the coals to hot. Any which way, too many managers and involvement.
@Bush: that was a hot quip.
@Greenman: Youre son happy with the position he is playing trials? Thought he did very well so far in his new position.
@Greenman: Morning Greenman, in PMB. My Green Machine will get me there. I will use the GW Jersey to start the fire, they burn lekker and keep the fire going for hours. Even if you try and pour water onto the fire, it just won’t go out.
@Bush: thought you had a GW jersey! enjoy and give feedback please. I will try to find a dry place to braai Bluff wors. The desert seems the only place you can find that’s dry! Is it still raining and where is the trials held?
@Hooit: I hope so.
@Bush: You sure it is lipstick?
@Hooit: Whahahahahah, Just rolled my wors roll with mustard sauce on it. I had Uber and Good Fella’s lined up. I will be going through to watch the trials after lunch. So I will get to see my favourite player RK play. I promise not to be biased. I think I will wear the Monnas Jersey that Spear gave me. It has quite a few lipstick smears on it. I will be undercover as it’s raining here.
@BrotherBear: Do you have feelings? You have been invited to many braais but chose not to attend. We are having another braai tonight. You are welcome to come and evaluate our wors braai techniques.
@BrotherBear: Really. There are 163 players at the trials! What for if they are not counted. The rest is the politics which is there every year. I am not in the know and also don’t know anybody in the know and also not interested. Let the trials do the talking. Maybe McCulleys, Bush and Spear has got a better idea of who is who down under.
@Bush: I was also told to make a plan with you as there is no UBER in silverspoon valley and that you do not like walking. Remember the green machine was only born that weekend. Is it a tractor yet? Our plan B for a late night fell in love and left early that evening.
@Bush: My wife tried her best to keep youre marriage safe. I had to leave when they switched the lights off. Was scared that somebody from the Eastern Cape could attack me in the dark. KZN SBR WBA
@Hooit: As far as I can remember back to KERF it was your wife wanting to go home early. So the scone and tea drinkers are tops. Our wors was also better. Look our players are clever players, they not high kick and wors chargers.
@Greenman: are you not supposed to be watching the trials?
What I meant is: do all the kids submitted by the other schools get an opportunity, or are some just scrapped off the list?
@Hooit: you have obviously never enjoyed the true culinary ecstasy associated with a Helpmekaar braai. You would then know that dependent on the wors thickness and where procured (spice and feed to animals dependent), different types of wood are used. Does not matter where in country at that stage, we import our own wood.
NB we are also not backward and use a braai grill above the wood – so we braai on a braai-grill. Some times, when bundu bashing, we just build a fire on a flat piece of rock. After a while we scrape the coals off and braai the wors on the hot rock.
You must really try and join us some time. See you only friends with some – it hurts the feelings.
@BrotherBear: “do the other school teams get the same opportunities and exposure? what would that mean?
@Bush: May the WORS be with you guys in KZN.
@Bush: As my SBR is almost over I can share these secrets now. Helpies always complained about favouritism and selectirs being unfair. Monnas braai wors on wood. Helpies uses gas. Big difference. Start a decent school rugby boy wors braai academy with all the silverspooners and more of them will represent the Sharks in the future.
@Bush: Do not agree. Glenwood should be treated better. Mist of their boys are Afrikaans and can braai lekker wors. Do you want n team full of tea and scone players or beer and braaivleis kuiers.?
@BrotherBear: “do the other school teams get the same opportunities and exposure?” the correct answer to your question is a big fat NO. If I was OCE and RK parents and if they didn’t make the CW side I would withdraw them. They deserve to be in the CW side. RK is SA Schools easy.
Well looks like the new Hilton rugby philosophy is paying off. A win against Westville as well now and some serious star players it seems. Clear what big money can do!
@Gungets Tuft: Richardson a huge loss for Kearsney as well as KZN teams. Bummer in matric year, but now he can focus on academics.
@Greenman: you welcome to comment on the Lion trials and teams. Tad touchy this early in process, what not? No issue to give deserving kids an opportunity, but it does beg the question: “do the other school teams get the same opportunities and exposure?”
Quite a luxury to be having trials in school time.
@McCulleys Workshop: There is no ways I would ever consider Knox and Ollie for AW. They are CW caliber players. I think rugby should do what they do with cricket. Have KZN Inland. Midlands and Pmb area will get a decent look at then. Knox has been the best Tight Head I’ve seen around. I have not just been to the House games.
@McCulleys Workshop: kearsney 7 is u17 if I’m not mistaken, his time will come. Hilton for forwords don’t usually make Cw
JJ Van Der Mescht has signed for the sharks
@Bush: Rocky and Ollie are the only two House players I’d expect to see in CW / AW, however it’s quite possible that they won’t make it, they are the wrong color. They need to be Green to get into the side. That being said both Hilton locks as well as one of the DHS locks could make CW/AW.
@warriors7: The Kearsney 7 and the Hilton 6 (Warren) and 7 (Venter) are great players. Surprised to see Hilton 9 not here, he’s the best 9 Ive seen this season in KZN.
If Richardson is injured I’d have Buthelezi at 8 with Dylan Kruger and Mchunu on the flanks
@BrotherBear: concentrate on the Lions trials. You will have plenty to moan about there. We will settle our own down here
So the CW side will really come out of the Chiefs and Blues. Strange that the selectors don’t rate Knox from House. Price is not even an itch on the selectors BB. Any way good luck to all the boys involved. Moral of the story go to GW if you want to make CW. Maybe it will be DHS in time come.
@Gungets Tuft: I’ll check you at the Stones with Glenwood then we can chow a bit of Green Machine wors
@Speartackle: I think you chowed the wrong wors again.
@BrotherBear: Broken jaw for Richardson.
@Speartackle: Want to bet?
@BrotherBear: Their 2 nd team will chow all KZN 1st teams
@Beet: so Glenwood has their first and 2nd team in trials?
Where is Richardson?
@beet: Do you by any chance have the u16 teams ?
