Even though Stellenberg near the Durbanville/Bellville residential borderline in Cape Town’s northern suburbs is still regarded as a Premier B league school in their very competitive region, the school has successfully created outstanding opportunities for their under-19A rugby team to showcase its ability as a top rugby school against some of the best SA has to offer. Their first of several high profile matches is against national powerhouse Paarl Gymnasium on Friday 17 March 2017. Stellenberg will back that up by featuring in the Noord-Suid tournament, Wildeklawer and Cape Schools Week during the course of the season. They also have other Western Cape heavyweights in the form of Bishops, Outeniqua, Rondebosch, Boland Landbou and HTS Drostdy lined up for 2017.

Ten minste 10 Stellenberg spelers wat verlede jaar gereeld eerste span gespeel het as ek dit nie mis het nie. Behoort Gim redelik besig te hou. Onderskeie losskakels behoort ook mekaar redelik goed te ken.
