KZN Provisional Fixtures 2013

The first draft of the KwaZulu-Natal 2013 fixtures has been completed. Being early days it is subject to changes like the talked about Westville versus Pretoria Boys High School match-up, which has not been factored into the draft below. There may also be a reshuffle of Provincial fixtures for 2013 (Craven Week, Academy Week and Grant Khomo Week), which in turn may have an influence on KZN teams’ preparations for these inter-Provincial tournaments. This is yet to be confirmed by SA Schools. There is a possibility that Craven week may precede Academy Week and Grant Khomo Week in 2013.

Here is an abbreviated to death first draft 2013 KZN fixture list:

Kearsney play two fixtures then KERF, then Namibia for a four game tour vs Walvis Bay, Walvis Bay Gym and two others, before heading home to carry on the domestic season – FYI.

@Greenwood: agreed, i hope Headmasters have not wet their panties, and trying to prove a point between them, or maybe thsi is why Kershaw didnt comment on the Marne issue, just decided not to play them next year , i feel this is going to be a HOT blog topic now and more important than Northwood going out and buying players ??

@Greenwood: Do you think this might be a deliberate omission because of the Marne debacle? That would be an immense over-reaction if it was. Let’s hope it is just an honst mistake.

Greenhopper – the first thing I did was scroll down to check WVL – GWD fixture – to me this would be one of the GWD highlights

so do we have politics here or with this being a provisional list subject to change – already some speculation here – IF these 2 are not playing each next year this site is going to hum big time !!!

@Hopper: I’m sure it’s a mistake. I see the weekend 19/03 is free for both schools – they can slot it in there. Agree there should be a return match.

Hells Teeth – that period for College after the College 150th Festival – better start working on squad depth now.

Wildeklawer, House, KES, Glenwood, Hilton, Kearsney, Westville, Affies, Pretoria Boys, Glenwood.

@ beet- good one . Maybe we are a bit more controversial than we think. I certainly hope not.

@star: Good observation auditor Star. Luckily we are in the least controversial SBR region of SA,so I have reported this oversight to the KZNHSA. Hopefully they will amend the schedule.
