SA Schools post for George Campbell’s Noel Ingle

Noel Ingle, the Chairman of the KwaZulu-Natal High School Rugby Association, has been named as an SA Schools Vice Chairman. Part of the duties include attending 10 meetings per annum where key issues regarding school rugby will be discussed and some important decisions made.

Noel is an electrical technology teacher at George Campbell Technical High School and the national examiner for the school subject as well. He served as George Campbell’s head coach for a remarkable 22 years starting back in 1987 and is still actively involved in the school’s coaching programme to this day.

As the Chairman of the KwaZulu-Natal High School Rugby Association, he’s had to deal with some difficult issues over the past few years including the KZN over-aged player debacle and Marné-gate. However in spite of all the drama that has unfolded around him, his relevance in the decision-making processes and having to answer some difficult questions put to him by the media, Noel has handled matters with a professional coolness and calmness that has seen issues resolved with very little attention being drawn to himself.
