    That’s why I said some don’t even play a common opponent….

However I seem to have been looking at the U14 list when making my assumption….

I think looking at the list, apart from Garsfontein establishing themselves.
Grey High – where have they been? This is more like what’s expected from them
Pretoria Boys’ High – an important change in strategy to open the door for sponsored rugby talent. Almost certain to make them a national force to be reckoned with in the coming years.
Outeniqua looking sorted and stable after their rollercoaster times.
Durbanville now crying out for WPPL status louder than ever. They have the number of teams and their A-teams are delivering on a level equal to or above many in the WP main league.
Drostdy’s amazing u16A team. Can they keep this group in together until 2027? Odds against them. The shoppers are bound to succeed in acquiring some of their best players.
Kearsney’s u16A team outperforming all their other rugby teams by a considerable way and offering lots of hope for the near future 1st XVs after some tough post Covid times

Re the matter of teams not playing each other, I dont believe the juniors are much different to the seniors. Lets take U14 PRG and Garsies (since they have the most vociferous supporters here and I know the PRG U14s). Both for instance play Affies, Oakdale, Gim, Stellenberg, Grey Bloem (not sure of Garsies though), Transvalia and each other. PRG play KES, Garsies play Noordheuwel which play KES. PRG play DHS, Garsies play Jeppe which play DHS. In the end, there are enough common denominators to calc a reasonable ranking.

Love them or hate them, die program lewer resultate.

I used the aggregate of the 6 rankings (2 websites x 3 age groups). It was just easier to produce it that way.

Not sure I quite follow the “overall” ranking here. PG is 5th, 1st and 1st (i.e., 1+1+5=7) while Affies is 1st, 5th and 2nd (i.e., 1+5+2=8). Surely it should be the other way around? PRG’s total is also 8, but third place is probably fair enough.

    U15 rankings are way out…..
The two Paarl schools should be in top 5. Maritzburg drop about 15 places.

Grey College & Monnas are not that great this year. Not sure how Hilton ended up above DHS either after losing 52-0 to them. DHS pushed Paul Roos all the way this year and should be close to top 5 as well…..KES were quite impressive down at the Frans Malherbe week and should be way higher. As difficult as junior rankings is with some schools never playing each other, or even a common opponent this seems way off….
