Old Grey, Jannie Geldenhuys — head coach of Grey College’s 1st XV and a former member of the 2007 schoolboy rugby Dream Team — has been appointed as the school’s new Deputy Headmaster. A qualified educator, Geldenhuys combines academic and sporting excellence, bringing a wealth of experience to the role.
In addition to his coaching duties, Geldenhuys also serves as the head of Murray House, one of the school’s boarding establishments. He effectively succeeds Joel Erasmus, who resigned to take up the position of Headmaster at Edgemead High School in Cape Town in January 2024.
