Kloof sukkel by die Onderouderdom spanne.

Not sure if early season is a true reflection but OK if that is the view. I’ve heard Noories have ramped it up since…

Yes the feeling is they comfortably dispatched them…first game of the season…tried combinations, let some reserves come on..had one or two tries disallowed…and NH scored 2 late consolation tries when the game was won…look thats the impression we got, had close friend at the game, I watched on SS

Agree there are excellent players but I think what should worry Bere supporters is how they conceded 4 tries v Waterkloof in like 9 minutes just before half time…
they ‘zoned out’ or lost interest apparently. Taking nothing away from Klofies who attacked well, play smartly and are deservedly now ranked about 5 in SA.

A highly respected journalist told me some time ago that Piet Retief has broken ground by being a transformed team in the Noordvaal Cup competition. He went on to say their headmaster was very good. Past tense because he was in the process of leaving at the time.

There was a discussion around it here earlier in the year…if you are willing to do the scroling you’ll find all the reasons in that threat…

They played both Outiniqua and Hugenote the same day and for obvious reasons chose to prioritize the Kwaggas game ,wich payed off because they beat them in George

KES beat Noordheuwel 31-27, is that considered comfortable these days? Noordheuwel lost to Hugenote of Springs by 10-28…

Michaelhouse too high…they should be 1 or 2 spots below Helpmekaar at best.
Kingswood also too high, this isnt going to be good for their egos. Arrogant, entitled bunch.
Glad to see Waterkloof, Jansen and DHS up there in the top 10.

KES too low, they comfortably accounted for Noordheuwel…they lost quite bad to Grey (but most do) and lost to HJS in a tight game.

Well deserved Waterkloof, flying under the radar and unleashing against Garsfontein. The annual derby with Affies is going to be epic.

There 90 point loss to Grey must have knocked the stuffing and confidence of the team so maybe underperformed. That was massive and went under the radar…remembering the Kwaggas of 2013 who beat Grey at KERF…

Unusual to see Outeniqua in 48th position. They don’t have a high amount of wins but the level of their opposition has been very high. I would fancy them in the top 25 at least. Probably an example of where a very difficult schedule counts against a school in rankings. SASchoolsports has Kwaggas at 27 but I guess every ranking system is different.

Glenwood out of the top 50 for the first time in probably 30 years 😢. Although I do think they could beat a few in the 40s. Times are a changing, areas degrading….
