Lyk my of julle n bietjie gesweet het in Maritburggghh. Seker die “high tea” of vegetariese etes? Ek neem aan jy staan vierkantig agter die Kwaggas more?

@HORSEFLY NO.1: EG Jansen won indeed!! For me they are the surprise team of the festival. Running the ball from anywhere and everywhere and every player giving it 150% for 70 minutes. Their No 13 was a standout for me – needs to watch his discipline at times with off the ball stuff but not lacking in the skills and aggression departments.

@beet: For a Greenie like me I would argue that Glenwood were the team of the day yesterday……

@QC86: You are right- yet another close call. I noticed that they were struggling, then scored two tries. All 8 of their reserves, started yesterday. But Monday should be a good match, but I do notice that those who made predictions against GCB, have gone a little quite. The offspring of one of your old boys is doing exceedingly well for his team. But the results all over, were good. The U 16s in Paarl beat Waterkloof, 53-0, so looking good for next year

Ek persoonlik dink Kloof sal Affies klop as hulle nou moet speel.
Paarl BH was baie baie goed.

Daar was venynigheid na beide kante.
Paarl BH het my uit my skoene beindruk. Die 15, 10, 9 en 4 is almal uitstaande. Die 11 was verstommend.

Metzi was bittet gatvol!!

An amazing achievement for Marlow, considering that they have fewer than 300 boys. They are always boxing above their weight and do so more often than not, with distinction.

Unfortunately the Reds went down to Marlow. Final score KES 16 – Marlow 20. Fuller had to go off because of a knee injury, that might the end of his rugby season. Marco is missed in that backline, they are not firing at all. What I saw today is sad considering I’m a Reds supporter.

@Slam: Affies loosehead is much taller than hooker and ltighthead. Affies will never dominated in front this year. When will the coaches listen. Damaging this boys chances to play later in life as everybody will write him of this year. Mr Eloff move your son either to lock in the Etsebeth, Bakkies mould, but then work must be done on his lineout capabilities or he must play tighthead where his strenght and length will be to his advantage. Would love to see him and 8th man. With his speed and bodyframe he will be devestating. Just a shame that he was never used correctly. What a shame.

Update from a mate at the game

Affies lead Queens 17 – 0 at the break but Queens should have points on the board
Ref is apparently not doing Queens any favours
Queens scrumhalf is playing really well
Affies centre has been warned 3 times for dangerous tackles in front of the posts
Affies prop is scumming illegally, pushing sideways, getting popped then winning penalties
