@GreenBlooded:
Yip I mean the pool stages.
@HORSEFLY NO.1: Maybe in the pool stages but no luck involved getting through the various playoff stages.
@GreenBlooded:
Well done to Clifton U15A for winning the Indigo festival and to Glenwood for coming 3rd, i have to say that a lucky draw did give Glenwood a huge advantage though…
U14 Bottom 10 at the Jeppe Festival
20 DHS
19 Affies
18 Parktown
17 Glenwood
16 Crawford Lonehill
15 Grey College
14 Maritzburg College
13 St Albans
12 Paul Roos
11 St Johns
Final will be between Bishops and St Stithians with KES and St Peters going for 3/4.
@Greenblooded, KZN’s Under14’s have plenty work to do in the next few years to catch up. Well done to the Glenwood Under15’s brilliant to be in the top 4.
U15 tournament:
Clifton into final beating Glenwood 7-2 in the SFs so Glenwood to play for 3rd. DHS never got a chance after being ranked 4th in group because of some goals conceded group so they ended up playing for 13/14th vs Paul Roos which they won 6-2
U14 Jeppe Tourney update:
DHS will play Affies for 19/20 place.
Glenwood will play Parktown for 17/18 place.
College will play St Albans for 13/14 place after getting their first win of the tourney against Grey College.
The above applies to the U14 tourney.
College leads the KZN pack, playing for 13/14/15/16 with Grey College, St Albans and Crawford Lonehill.
Glenwood and DHS both battle it out for the last 4 positions (17/18/19/20) with Affies and Parktown.
@GreenBlooded:
DHS beat Affies 8-4…
KZN Schools results in the 1st tourney at KES:
College lost 15-5 to Bishops and 14-5 to St Andrews (and 4-4 draw with St Johns this morning)
Clifton won 15-3 against Parktown and drew 6-6 with SACS
DHS lost 16-9 to Grey High and 9-7 to Pretoria Boys
KZN Schools results in the U15 Tourney at Parktown:
DHS lost 8-4 to Affies, 6-3 to SACS, 5-3 to Bennies
Glenwood lost 5-3 to Reddam and WON 2-1 against Pretoria Boys (GO GREEN!!)
College lost 11-duck to Bishops and 10-1 to St Johns (Ouch).
Clifton beat Parktown 8-1 and St Stithian 9-1 – nice wins.
DHS 1st water polo lost 16-9 vs Grey High and 9-7 to Pretoria Boys at KES( these 2 are probably in the SA Top 5)
@GreenBlooded:
This is expected IMO. Performance of KZN Schools is usually reflected by performance of KZN Provincial teams. KZN U13 of last year weren’t the greatest last year hence the results. KZN U14 of last year won SA Schools Tournament hence KZN Schools having excellent teams(Clifton,DHS,Glenwood). All has to do with provincial side…
In the U14 tourney, the KZN schools are still looking for their first win after 6 matches.
Glenwood lost 4-1 to Reddam and drew 3-3 with St Stithians
DHS lost 8-0 to St Albans and 8-0 to St Peters
College lost 3-2 to Paul Roos and 9-1 to Selbourne
From todays results it seems like the schools who will be in the top 3 will be Selbourne, KES and Bishops.
