Pas in elk geval lekker by my bi-polêre persoonlikheid met belange in beide die premier A & premier B liga en as bonus is daar meer rugbykyk geleenthede!

Of is jy n misleide en misplaasde WP ondersteuner? Se net as jy daarmee worstel. I am a recovering victim.

No problem if a team play against 10 top schools a year. To play 5 of the best in 10 odd days just seems to be a step to far. 8-O

@Roger, put it this way our 2nd’s went unbeaten last year and the 3rd’s and 4th’s might have lost a game each. In fact, if it was not for the politics the 2nd’s were better than the 1st’s and would have beaten them. Not too sure this year though. Depth will be severely tested hence why I think the coach has a squad of 30 and maybe why he is keen to ‘buy’ in some players to improve the depth…

@Grasshopper: For all the criticism leveled here and elsewhere against Glenwood, few schools would have the balls for that fixture list. You need to measure yourself against the best to improve and eventually be competitive against the top 5 in SA, and this way is in my opinion the way to achieve it. Hats off and all the best to the GW boys (and supporters) for the season, much respect!

@Woltrui, you are spot on. The Glenwood powers that be obviously don’t really have a clue. There is no way the boys will be able to cope physically with that sort of schedule, it’s even tougher than what professional teams play. I get we want to test ourselves against the best, so maybe 3 top 20 teams in a season, but to play 10 or 11 of the top 20 teams in complete and utter madness. It really does frustrate me as it does not give the boys a good chance of winning as they will be playing with sore bodies every few days. I understand that in our 100th year back in 2010 we wanted to have a full schedule, but that is a once off. Drop Pukke at least….arg!!!

@Woltrui: @BOG:  The Glenwood supporters are going to have to answer that one. But honestly this is par for the course for them. They have one of the hardest schedules every year. However on 21 March madness they will still be fresh.

@beet: Glenwood seems to be on a Kamikazi mission Beet. Dont think any other team in the country went on a self destruct mission like Glenwood. Garsies (21/30), Hts Drostdy 3 days later, Paul Roos 3 days later, Selborne 2 days later and then, to put the cherry on the cake, Paarl Gim, 2 days later. I think Affies, Maritzburg – and Grey College are goiing to play against your 3rd or 4th teams come the end of the season. You Durbs boytjies are either very tough or you were not so fresh when that programme were put together 8)
