Ernst van Rhyn the Craven Week Player of Year 2015 makes history

Ernst van Rhyn the captain of both the Craven Week winning Western Province under-18 team and his school Paarl Gymnasium in 2015, has become the first FORWARD to  be named as the Craven Week Player of the Year.

    @Andre T: I think he was a little short for a senior rugby lock last year but perhaps he’s grown taller. If not then statistically his chances of making it in rugby are a lot greater as a backrow player.

    Absolutely well deserved as well, inspirational last year at Craven Week, as natural a leader as they come and incredibly gifted rugby player. A real workhorse. I think there is a big future here
