Menlo was Pretoria winners and lost against Monnas in Beeld semi final. New territory for them against Paul Roos, Stellenberg and Westville. This team could be the surprised package of the festival.

That is quite a demanding tournament for Glenwood and Garsfontein.

But pissing with the big dogs is better than dry humping small fish.

@Kattes-Strofes: They were strong in under14, but these are the 2 years boys change the most so those who were great or big in under14 could now just be the same as the other boys. I do know the Glenwood team lost to Grey Bloem 5-22 in Bloem, beat Monnas 14-12 at home & beat Affies 21-0 at home. Seems a good group but time will tell…

Real pity that Paarl Gym haven’t matched up either of their u/14 or u/16 teams against Grey at their own festival.

YIP!! Some serious match-ups here involving 3 of the Winelands schools. Glenwood and Garsfontein will have their work cut-out against these boys ,in a very demanding draw. However, I think that Glenwood has a strong line-up in this age group. Mayby Grassy ,or one of the other Hoppers can confirm.
Also good to see Paarl Gim playing against Grey Bloem. For no apparent reason, these two giants of schoolboy rugby, seldom compete against each other.
