I’m not sure when the WP CW teams will be announced but the decision surrounding the backup lock/loosie may be an interesting one. Do they go with van Rhyn the lock who then doubles as a flank or Joa Swart, who covers 7,8 and doubles as a lock :?: :?: :?:

It would be interesting to see who fills what position in a WP Suburbs team as opposed to a WP Winelands team.

Hy is ‘n “game breaker”.

@DieBos: Schoor has had quite a tough time. I would have thought he’d be up one of the star players of the WPPL this season. Instead he’s basically been a Gim 2nd team starter.

Moet sê Nico Leonard, Taigh Schoor en Thalwitzer bymekaar maak ‘n sterk “C” backline

@Vleis: CD for them just sound so wrong.

Low % this year from that 4. Should be closer to 80%

@Die Ken: I don’t think the WP A team is the full picture but definitely contains a high number of players expected to get the nod for CW

We’ve said it a thousand times before: WP must split the province into Coastal and Country District. A CD team made up from only PRG, PG, HJS and BL would challenge for the title every year. A coastal team made up from Bishops, Bosch, SACS, Wynberg, Stellenberg, Bellville, Tygerberg, etc would also be extremely competitive.
