The KZNRU has again failed in an attempt to organise a Top Schools Rugby Festival at Kings Park. That makes it just one out of three now for those tasked with organising the event, which is not a record to be proud of.
The one and only Top Schools Rugby Festival took place in 2013. In spite of it being regarded as a huge success at the time, it seemed to have become too difficult to get right after that first year.
The idea was borrowed from Western Province whose Rugby Union has been organising a successful Newlands rugby days featuring most of their top rugby high schools for years now.
