SA Schools beats Wales u18

SA Schools recorded a very good 24-16 win against Wales in George yesterday. Replacement flyhalf Handre Pollard was credited as the player of match after two of his breaks resulted in two tries for the Saffas soon after his introduction. He also kicked three penalties. Wales battled back in the second half to add some respectability to the score.

In the other game France beat England 20-13. As a result, SA Schools is the only unbeaten team after two matches. They play England in the final game in Bellville on Saturday. Sadly it looks unlikely that Saturday’s game will be televised.

Wales Under-18: 16 (0)
